With its rolling hills, shimmering lakes and boreal forest setting, Duck Mountain Provincial Park resembles northern Saskatchewan. This scenic park is an island of green in a sea of grain, a southerly piece of boreal uplands surrounded by prairie and located just three hours northeast of Regina.

Duck Mountain is a four-season park with accommodations ranging from wilderness camping at Little Boggy Creek Valley to a lodge with modern cabins to townhouses and a licensed restaurant near the main beach at majestic Madge Lake. Visitors may rent the recreation hall or amphitheatre for group gatherings or business meetings.

Duck Mountain offers a wide array of recreational opportunities guaranteed to put the bounce back into your step. Boat rentals, horseback riding and miniature golf are available. As well, take advantage of the18-hole, grass-green course located right inside the park. See if you can spot one of the moose, Whitetail deer, fox, mink, woodchuck, elk or bear common to the park.

Angle for pike, walleye or perch in spring-fed Madge Lake, or try for perch in Jackfish Lake. Hit the beach with a breezy summer read, tour the nearby National Doukhobour Heritage Village at Verigin, hike or bike a section of the Trans Canada Trail or sample one of the other self-guided or interpretive trails rated from novice to expert. In wintertime, cross-country ski or snowmobile on groomed trails with shelters.
